  • El 80% de las veces, todo el glamour de mi comida es este.

    Un precioso (nótese el sarcasmo) tupper de plástico reutilizado hasta la saciedad, con cositas ricas y saludables, por supuesto.
    .
    En este hay albóndigas de fabas rojas y berenjena, couscous a la marroquí, salsita de tomate y la hojita de perejil de Arguiñano de rigor, para que se note que es un plato rico y con fundamento.
    .
    Que no se diga que por comer en la oficina, se come mal. Recalentado, sí, pero saludable oiga.
    .
    Un montón de ideas de tupper para llevar al trabajo, nos las da "Dieta Coherente" en su curso que incluye el "Bundle para Foodies".

  • It’s easy to get caught up in the mindset of always wanting to go 110% in the gym and that “more” is better, but this isn’t always the case.

    I’ve posted a previous video on overtraining and how you need to look at the bigger picture. I described over training being a state in which the total amount of stress a person is experiencing exceeds their body’s ability to recover from it.

    So in other words, you could train really hard for a certain length of time but life stressors could pile up little by little and eventually your body will be totally burnt out.

    Over the past 6 months my training has been very intuitive. I’ll have periods where I push really hard and take more sets closer to failure, then I’ll have periods where I back off on m my training intensity a little bit.

    Before I used to just go balls to the wall week after week and while I did make good progress at the time, the way I’ve been training lately has been a lot more sustainable. Surprisingly me progress has actually been better, and I very rarely feel signs of fatigue or an overactive stress response like poor concentration, memory formation, inconsistent energy levels throughout the day, sleep issues, etc. But when I do notice these things I’m always quick to adjust my training accordingly 👌🏼

  • Lunch from today—Loaded Nachos💃Sauté 1 bell pepper, 4 Brussels sprouts, 1/2 cup corn, and four cloves garlic with olive oil for a few minutes. Add some dashes of chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Set aside and assemble a plate of tortilla chips. Top chips with vegetable mixture, refried beans, salsa, lime juice, and 🥑

  • Got a plate full of these mini veggie burgers and there wasn’t mushroom for anything else 🙊😂 I got this idea from @choosing_balance to make mini sliders using sweet potato slices as buns, and I made them vegetarian-friendly by making mushroom patties! These are perfect for lunch, appetizers, or a holiday gathering dish! Happy Wednesday ✨

    #dEATs : mushroom patties (dice baby bella mushrooms and combine with a whisked egg + 1 tbsp almond flour, then form into patties and cook in a pan with olive oil for ~4 min per side) + sweet potato “buns” (slice sweet potato and bake at 415F for 20 min) + arugula + smashed avo + red pepper flakes
