  • I KNOW some of you were waiting for this post :) So here it is. Yes, you need a rest day, or two. Listen to your body. It DOES need days off. There are many reasons you need these days; here are two of them:
    1 - If your sleep patterns are all over the place over-training could be the culprit. Too much exercise can put your body in a constant state of restlessness or on high alert making a good night’s sleep tough to achieve. Your rest days can bring down your alertness and heart rate which can help you get a better night's sleep.
    2 - The first thing we learn about strength training is that when you lift weights, you're essentially tearing muscle fibers. Without proper rest for your immune system to repair and grow the muscle, you will miss out on the benefits of your training.

    I really dont know how else to stress this but, you cant just wait for your dreams to magically just show up! Because THEY WONT… 🤣 hate to break it to you but the extra fluff you wanna lose isnt gonna disappear either from just saving insta workout vids and drinking a million weightless drinks! If you want something to happen you need to make it happen! I want so badly to not be working 3 jobs and I’m gonna make that happen one day, one day I’m gonna make it to financial freedom outside of societies expectations! 😍

    But that’s the best type of type of leg day, right? You literally have to grab the wall to sit down on the toilet🤩 Hell yeahhhhh!!! Hehehe⁣
