Today, watching my baby girl perform with her friends in her Christmas program, I realized how fast time has gone.
I was reminded of a big reason I decided to take a leap, have faith in myself, and start my own business last year. •
I get to show my minis that we are all capable of doing great things when we try, and when we have a wonderful support system of family and friends. •
I get to invest in my family so that we are really living and enjoying life, rather than living to work.
I get to show others that they deserve more, and they are worthy of healthy, beautiful skin, and self-care is important. •
I get to coach others to create their own opportunities and achieve their own goals. •
Who knew a little girl could remind her mama what life is about, just by being her unique, spirited and loving self?
I am so grateful for strong girls who grow into strong women. May we be them and may we raise them. Thankfully, I was raised by the best of them. ♡

- Are you eating CRAP 🤷♀️ (carbonated drinks, refined sugars, artificial and processed foods), if so STOP!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As I continue to focus on eating healthy eating….low carb/high fat….keto….tracking what causes me stomach inflammation, I am also researching what helps with menopause. Boy, this aging thing is challenging! 🤷♀️ I have found 7 foods that can help balance mood, ease hot flashes and insomnia, fight cancer, and protect your heart and bones.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❇️Buckwheat 🌾-it’s a whole grain, gluten-free and rich in B vitamins, which impacts mood 😊⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❇️Collard greens -has nearly as much calcium and whole of milk! This is a must for me with my osteopenia, but also for anyone in menopause! Contains vitamin K and magnesium too, which are critical for bone health ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❇️Sardines 🐟-high in omega-3 fatty acids, which can help reduce the frequency of hot flashes, reduce the risk of osteoporosis and breast cancer, also protect the heart….I’ll have to think about this one 🤔⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❇️Flaxseeds -richest source of lignans. Can reduce night sweats and hot flashes 🔥⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❇️Tempeh-isoflavones...can reduce hot flash 🔥 frequency and/or severity⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❇️Tomato sauce 🍅-lycopene, powerful antioxidant. Can reduce risk of osteoporosis.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❇️Black beans 🥘-loaded with fiber, rich in B vitamins-important for mood, and magnesium-protects bone health, improves sleep and may relieve anxiety and depression⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
