  • Aim small miss small

The principle works for more than target shooting. Be specific with your goals. Be specific with your time. Be specific enough that when you miss, you’re still in the ballpark ✨
You’ll be able to bounce back better because you’re still on the right track

Write down 3 things that need to happen as we look into our week and BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE

Always remember that a goal without a plan is just a wish! ✨
What are your 3 goals? Write them below

  • I absolutely LOVE my #ollyvitamins , they do soo much for my body and they taste so good. HOWEVER, as a part of my commitment to myself and to my body, I'm going to stop using them for a bit to try and help my body refocus and restart some functions that it had started depending on other things for, beginning with allocating nutrients from the foods I eat. As a culture, we rely heavily on a quick fix that autonomously we look to answers from the outside to fix the problems on the inside which is actually retroactive because ultimately a lot of those issues came from the outside. I know this is really deep, and it can carry so much meaning in so many different directions, which I guess I want it to because I want everyone to take a look now since this new year is approaching and decide now what they want to change and make a commitment to it. #personaldevelopment #strongerthanyesterday #gewellness #dietingtips #selflove

  • Why do I feel jolly so early on a Sunday? I'm getting some work done before the rest of my crew rises. Tomorrow I start a 2nd round of a program I did over the summer. It was the first non-running plan I've followed. It helped me heal, and regain the strength, flexibility and mobility I'd lost over the years.
It helped me fine-tune my nutrition, and got me out of a mental rut I'd hit when I joined a new decade. Can you guess which one? I can still have fun. I can still do hard things.
Today is all about meal prep and mental prep. And checking in with other Winter Warriors who are starting the same program, or another plan that fits their life and goals. I start tomorrow, because I want healthy habits in place so I'm ready to tackle 2019.

Message me if you want to join us for some fun, encouragement, and accountability.

  • 🔥 HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN FAT LOSS WORKOUT 🔥⠀
    -⠀
Working out is a great addition when you want to lose fat, you are burning calories and building muscle at the same time. 🙌🏽⠀
    -⠀
The more muscle mass you have the more calories you'll burn, even when you are doing nothing! 💪🏼⠀
    -⠀
Here are some tips to make your own fat loss workout: 👇🏽⠀

    1. Warming up. Underrated but definitely necessary for a good workout. It gets your heart pumping, warms up your muscles and prevents injuries. Don't go all out, just get a little warm!⠀

    2. The big moves, also known as compound moves. These are the exercises that hit more than one muscle, that is why they are also heavier and should be in the beginning of your workout while you're still fresh. Chest press, deadlift and squats are all great options. ⠀

    3. Accessory work or isolation work. These are the exercises that only hit one muscle and should be done at the end. Go for the muscles that are falling behind a little and give them some extra attention. ⠀

    4. And lastly you have the finisher, here you'll work on your strength, HIIT, foam rolling or mobility! ⠀
