  • For online freelancers, sitting too long has become a common routine as we are working with our laptops, PCs, or Macs. But it will eventually have an impact and have serious consequences to one’s health. Getting up and walking around will help you avoid these bad effects. It will also give you time to think and a visual break from your immediate surroundings.

  • The often quoted World Health Organisation definition of health is; ‘Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.’ That’s a powerful, positive and holistic view of health that covers many of the elements of wellness. But wellness goes even further. In wellness, you can be inclusive of physical, mental and social disabilities, differences, diseases and infirmities. To me, wellness is about the actions we take and not about their outcomes. A philosophy that echoes the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, wellness means working steadily to be your best self in whatever way fits your values, skills and interests (your dharma) without expecting any reward or necessarily achieving any goal.

  • “BUT IT’S HARD” 😫
    .
Working on your fitness goals, on having your dream body, it can feel HARD, really hard sometimes. 😣
    .
But you wanna know what’s also super freakin’ hard? 💣
    .
It’s hard to not be able to see your toes.🦶🏼
    .
It’s hard to every single day feel like less than.➖
    .
It’s hard to look in the mirror and not be totally obsessed with and proud of the person looking back at you.🙍🏽‍♀️
    .
It’s hard to gain 5-10 pounds every year and just say “that’s life.” 🤷🏽‍♀️
    .
It’s hard to scroll Instagram and see all these filtered and curated images and then pick yourself apart. 🤳🏼
    .
It’s hard to go shopping and feel like nothing fits, like nothing looks good. 👚👗👖
    .
It’s hard to feel aches, tightness, and a lack of mobility because you’re not using to moving your body regularly. 🙇🏻‍♀️
    .
It’s hard to not feel comfortable enough to just hop in your bikini whenever you want. 👙
    .
It’s hard to feel like you don’t get BETTER every day, to feel like it’s all downhill from here. ⛰
    .
It’s hard to have to buy bigger sizes every year. ➕
    .
It’s hard to keep saying “tomorrow” because every day you do that, you know you’re letting yourself down today. 📆
    .
It’s hard to stress over food and feel anxiety about what you’re eating.🌭🍔🍟🍕🍎🥦🍣🍦
    .
It’s hard to feel like your best self is behind you.🙈
    .
It’s hard to wake up sluggish and lacking energy, wishing you could snooze the alarm one. more. time. 😴
    .
It’s hard to spend your time preoccupied with how you look. ☹️
    .
    💯 CHOOSE YOUR HARD 💯
    .
For me, I’ll take the hard of exercise, healthy eating, self love, and CONSISTENCY with all of that any day. 💪🏼

  • IS YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTION TO LOSE WEIGHT? GET HEALTHY?

A few years ago I was 20 pounds heavier and very often tired, sluggish. Seeing some of my fellow Arbonne consultants completely transform their health through our 30 Days to Healthy Living Program, I gave it a shot. I had never done anything like that. I always thought "eating healthy" meant you eat salad 100% and you "can't" eat "bad" food. And you do that and lose some weight and then you can eat whatever you want again.
That's NOT what this program was at all. I learned about which foods are dense in nutrients and what certain foods do to my body/digestive system. I also discovered how to cook clean, healthy meals that were DELICIOUS. One of my biggest takeaways was that to lead a healthy lifestyle, I didn't have to "cut out" anything out. I just needed to be mindful of what I'm putting in my body and what it does to my body.
As I went through the program I started feeling more energetic. Overall just felt more alive. After 30 days, I had developed some new habits that to this day keep me on top of my game. Like lemon water in the morning. The massive protein shakes. I slowly re-introduced all the other stuff I used to eat (pizza!). I eat clean now like 80% of the time.

To kick off 2019 I'm doing the 30-day program again to reset my body and detox from the holidays. If you're someone who wants to be healthier going forward, I'm tellin ya this is the BEST program out there to set you up for good health going forward.

ARE YOU IN?? You'll be joining a whole community of others who are doing the same thing. We will help each other and it'll be SO much fun!
Lets get your products ordered now and you'll be added to a private Facebook group where we'll be sharing nutrition tips and information and suggested meal plans, recipes, and other supportive things. Amazing Blockbuster deal available right now for our Nutrition special value pack. I've included the Canadian and American prices in this post. If you're in the UK, Australia, Poland, or New Zealand, msg me and I'll give you the pricing for your country 😀

I will ask again.... ARE YOU IN??

  • That fifth serving of pie seemed like a wonderful idea until your stomach churned and your forehead started to sweat. Among pain and heartburn relief, these banana flakes have countless health benefits, such as diarrhea management! No need to worry, this product has you covered from any unexpected runs. 😳🙌🏼🙅🏻‍♀️

  • Curls for the girls 🌝. The importance of training upper body 👇🏼.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the first couple of years of training, I used to neglect training my upper body since I didn’t think it was important or needed at all. Over time I came to learn how important it actually is to balance out the muscles throughout your whole body! Here are some things I learnt about why you should train upper body:
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    1. It helps you with your lower body lifts!! You can go way heavier on deadlifts, lunges, squats etc... without upper body strength, you limit how much you can progress with other areas of your training.
    2. It helps your posture SO MUCH! Especially training your back, this can help prevent so many injuries and complications when it comes to doing heavier compound lifts too.
    3. General health and strength throughout your body. This is so important as you start to age!
    4. More defined and shaped upper body! Which I find is sooo nice, especially getting rid of those chicken flaps 😅.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are so many more reasons, but these are the ones which motivate me the most 🙏🏼 I’ve honestly improved so much on my lower body days because of training upper body! @belasfitguide
