  • Turn wishful thinking into DOING

    “Als ik niet zo’n drukke baan had en geen kleine kinderen om voor te zorgen, dan zag ik er ook zo uit. “En het scheelt ook dat ik niet 10 jaar geleden al was begonnen met sporten”. We horen dit soort teksten vaak voorbijkomen. Voor alles wat jij niet als prioriteit stelt kun je 100 redenen bedenken waarom je het voor jou onmogelijk is om te doen. Maar wat nou als ik jou vertel dat ik je na elke workout €100 euro geef. Waarschijnlijk zijn alle obstakels niet meer zo groot en vind jij wél een manier om dat uurtje trainen in jouw dag te laten passen. Wensdenken heeft geen zin zonder het ondernemen van de juiste stappen, dus start met het maken van die aanpassing in je leven en je zult zien dat je dan het “onmogelijke” wel gaat behalen🙏🏾

  • DUMBBELL + CABLE UPPER BODY! And why women prefer training lower body over upper body... 🤷🏽‍♀️

    This was my workout from this morning and woweee its so good. I love hitting upper body! 🔥
    .
    As women, we do tend to train our lower bodies more as genetically it grows quicker than our upper bodies, and most people prefer to train a muscle group that adapts quicker, hence why I train legs so much 🍑
    BUT this doesn’t mean to say you shouldn’t be training upper body too!!
    .
    Tag your workout partner, hit save for later and ♥️. .
    1️⃣ Floor press 4x10 reps
    2️⃣ Alternating incline press 4x8 reps
    3️⃣ Dumbbell bench fly 4x10 reps
    4️⃣ Cable flys - 3x12 reps

    DESEQUILIBRIO MUSCULAR: cuando un músculo es más fuerte que su músculo opuesto.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    Si te la pasas frente a una computadora o trabajas demasiado los músculos frontales (como el pecho y los abs), es probable que estes creando un desequilibrio de fuerza entre tus músculos frontales y tu espalda.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    En otras palabras, a menos que identifiques y corrijas los desequilibrios existentes, podrías estar dirigiéndote directamente a una lesión.

    OJO 👀: esto no solo le pasa a alguien que hace mucho ejercicio, esto puede desarrollarse en tu día a día, de acuerdo a tus hábitos y estilo de vida.
