  • October 2017, I began my workout journey one that I had no idea tbh what I was getting into.  I just knew I wanted to "tone up". What that meant exactly I had no idea but I knew I wanted change.  I weighed in at 206lbs, PBF 31%. I never really looked at myself as being fat, I actually really liked how I looked. I thought I could just add muscle to what I was at that time.  It unfortunately doesnt work that way. I needed loose fat and build muscle.  It was hard AF!! It still is over a year later. ~
    ~
    I didnt go on any Fad diets they simply dont work!! I made simple lifestyle changes that had a major effect over time.  No fizzy drinks, No fast foods, and just tried to make better everyday choices.  I gave myself weekends to have so called "fun treats". But I stuck to the plan. ~
    ~
    Along the way people are gonna talk, and in the West Indian culture thicker is better.  I got comments of "I'm getting to Mawga, stop loose de weight now" LOL..but its all a process, I knew the gains would come. ~

    Im currently at 185lbs, PBF 24% and still grinding!! ~

    If you're just getting started or thinking about it; BE CONSISTENT!! Thats all, and the results will come!! ~

I’m gonna keep posting until you DM me and tell me, “You were posting so much, you made me feel guilty!!”. I want to see you get results! Men AND women! You don’t have to like me, you could hate me! I don’t care! I am on the side of love and life. I support that which runs through you, not for what you think you have control over. It’s deeper than that! So, get up! Get after it! LET’S GET IT!!!!

    I got started on my weight loss journey and ultimately ended up losing 55 + pounds by taking a challenge. -

    Several years ago someone challenged me to stop eating meat for a month and I challenged myself to stick to it. I had to find brand new recipes, new restaurants, and new favorites because a majority of my diet was meat based. -

    I ended up staying a vegetarian for 2.5 years and wound up getting 2 nutrition certifications to deepen my knowledge because I was addicted to learning as much as I could as fast as I could. (I'm no longer vegetarian) -

    I think that fitness challenges are vital for creating awareness, helping people get support, and giving people accountability for their actions. -

    I've got new MONTHLY fitness challenges starting in 2019. The challenges will cost less than $1.50 / day and will all come with meal plans, video workouts, support groups, & more! -

  • Some may think I didn't look bad in my before picture. But for me I was uncomfortable in my own skin! For someone who was always on the slim side most of her life gaining almost 40lbs of unhealthy Weight hit me hard!! I'm proud to say a little over a year and half into this LIFESTYLE change I've been able to drop 33 lbs and put on 10lbs of muscle💪🏾 🗣 I'M JUST GETTING STARTED ON THIS GAINS TRAIN!! Was it hard...HELL YES! Did I want to quit...HELL YES!! But was it worth it...HELLLLLL YES!!! Don't be afraid to make that change!!
