  • This week I was hit with being sick and weak. Sickness, is already an awful situation, but it also brings so many feeling. It brings the feeling of being down and leaving you with out strength or energy. It brings the feeling of sadness and hopelessness. It brings pain and lack of motivation. You are put in a position where your mind is free to go anywhere it wants and throw at you any negative thoughts because you are not focused on your mental health, but you are focused on the sickness that is hurting you.
    In those moments is where you need to fight harder. You need to Challenge your thoughts, your emotions, your pain, and your suffering. You need to change them to positive and how do I do it!? 1. Self talk - as soon as a bad thought comes in, I will change it to a positive one
    2. Write down all the positive things about yourself, even the once you don’t believe. Read them through out the day and repeat and repeat and repeat
    3. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell your self you are beautiful, intelligent, smart, kind, your weight is perfect, your body is a miracle, you are enough
    All of these might sound funny and you might not believe them, but as you keep doing them your mind will change too. Sooner or later your mind will do this automatically and you will see the change.
    Change doesn’t come by itself. You have to give it a little push everyday and one day it will all just happen by its self.

    Always remember that you are not alone. Remember you are worth it and that you are a warrior.

  • We visited a big Christmas event 🎄 today. In the middle of the crowds of people I was thinking where in our way we lost our self, when did we forget about what Christmas should be about.

    I guess somewhere trough the years, through the tears, through our difficult times.. I believe that we all are little kids inside, that we can activate that and hug our little self with love. Wipe those tears, get back the years and get the best from our difficult times.

    I believe that if we become kids again the world be happier place. And we all could enjoy holidays more

    Christmas are not about gifts, rush, food or spending money to things no-one needs. I believe that playing and spending time with your kids is better than any gift you can buy. I believe that hug from yourlove-one is warmer than any food. I believe that laughing together is sweeter than every candy. I believe that we all need to stop running around and calm down the pressure. It's not outside world who make that. we created it inside. We need to stop believe we have to do all these crazy things (cookies, gifts, cards, christmas carols and decorations, ...) and start to celebrate in the way we enjoy them. Not with the checklist in our hand but with the love in our heart ❤

    I can remember wishing I were pretty like so and so, why can’t I be popular like her, why can’t my body look like that, why isn’t my hair more like hers....
    .
    The list would go on and on.

    I never looked at myself as pretty, smart, funny or enough.
    .
    Taking this journey to lose some weight has become so much more.
    .
    It’s helped me learn how to love the fact that I AM ME, not her, not you, not so and so.
    .
    We are all made different TO BE DIFFERENT momma!

    You are beautiful, you are strong, you are smart and you are ENOUGH!
